Clovis, CA – The Clovis Chamber of Commerce is offering exclusive access to 3 Hot Air Balloon pilots and their balloons on Friday, October 26, the day before the ClovisFest Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly sponsored by Community Medical Centers. We will also have performers from the ClovisFest International Village sponsored by the Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau. ClovisFest dates are Saturday, October 27 & Sunday, October 28 in Old Town Clovis.

Big New Adventures Await You at ClovisFest 2018!
For Immediate Release
October 23, 2018 – Clovis, CA. This year’s Table Mountain Casino ClovisFest, October 27th and 28th in the heart of Old Town Clovis, reinvents itself with bigger and better attractions than ever before! An unbelievable 44 years have gone by since the first quaint ClovisFest craft festival—ClovisFest is now one of the most anxiously awaited events in Clovis.
Brand new attractions are bound to delight the entire family. Early risers can enter at 6:15 am to watch the balloons inflate for the colorful Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly. Join us for breakfast from Waffilicous, Bobby Salazar’s breakfast burritos, and java and drinks from Jitters. The Saturday and Sunday morning Hot Air Balloon event is sponsored by Community Medical Centers. Arrive bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed to meet up at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds for the launch party.
Then cross Clovis Avenue to join in the ClovisFest Street Festival, now boasting over 250 vendors selling the finest crafts to be found in the Central Valley and delicious food from exotic cuisines. Experience a special mix of local entertainment while you browse. This fabulous cornucopia of delights stretches from 3rd through 8th Streets along Pollasky Avenue.
The centerpiece of the ClovisFest 2018 celebration is our popular International Village, presented by the Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau. The shaded stage, along Bullard and Woodworth Avenues, spotlights multi-cultural entertainment from around the world. The Clovis Heiwa Taiko (Japanese Drum Group), Celtic Motion Dance Company, Halau Hula I Ka La, the Iranian Culture and Art Club (ICAC) of Fresno, and many more are there to amaze kids and kids-at-heart on both Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am until 4 pm. Take your International Village Passport to each numbered booth within the Village, get it stamped, and return your completed passport to the Fresno/Clovis Convention and Visitors Bureau booth for a chance to win this year’s Grand Prize—A Chromebook!
The new No Surrender Laser Tag Adventure Park Kids’ Zone along 7th Street offers fun activities for all ages, including pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, and pony rides from Ford Farms. Pretty princesses will hold court from Something Enchanted in addition to Renaissance Actors from Kearney Renaissance Faire. Superheroes and robots will be on hand to save the day from Hero Alliance, and Starlite Vaulters will do their equestrian magic to round out the family-friendly entertainment. Burn off energy with inflatables and rides on both sides of 4th Street from Wow Factor Attractions, including the Themed Air Tunnels, Parachute Ride, Water Rollers, Battle Balls, Jurassic Jungle Maze, and Rock Climbing Wall.
Need a break from the kids? Sit back and enjoy your favorite brew at the Michelob Ultra Beer Garden next to the American Legion Hall on 4th Street. An exciting schedule of notable local rock and country bands hits the stage both Saturday and Sunday.
