Opportunities Abound for Women Business Leaders at the 2^nd Annual Clovis and Fresno Chamber Women in Business Summit

June 14, 2019 – Clovis, CA.

The Clovis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Fresno Chamber of Commerce and the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, to present the 2^nd annual Chamber Women in Business Summit on Thursday, June 27, 2019. Join this year’s lineup of local women business leaders and professional speakers, and then network and showcase your business. Doors open at 4 pm for speakers’ discussions, and the trade show runs from 5 until 7 pm in the Liberty Ballroom at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District, 808 4^th St., in Clovis.

“Created by women for women because we are in business together,” this year’s Women in Business Summit continues fulfilling goals of empowering women in the workforce through community building platforms and professional development. The Fresno and Clovis Chambers of Commerce and Clovis Veterans Memorial District are proud to bring their core values of advocating, educating, and connecting local business owners to this exciting event.

Enjoy tastings from local restaurants, wineries, and breweries while you network and get to know active members of the greater Central Valley women’s business community. The entrance fee is just $20 for this fun opportunity.

Get involved as a tradeshow exhibitor. Clovis and Fresno Chamber members pay only $125 for a 10’ x 10’ booth, table, and chairs ($250 for non-Chamber Members). Non-profits get an additional $25 off the booth price. Receive two admissions with your booth.

Featured Speakers Include:

Paula De Young, Owner and Executive Vice President, De Young Properties. Paula De Young and her husband began their tradition of building quality homes in 1974. Based in Fresno, California and established with the goal of expanding the family legacy of quality craftsmanship, unparalleled innovation and exceptional customer service, De Young Properties now reaches into its third generation and has built more than 7,000 homes in Central California. De Young Properties team is committed to creating dream-fulfilling homes and communities while also supporting community organizations dedicated to improving quality of life.
Fotini Alfieris is the Director of Donor Relations at California State University, Fresno. She is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Fresno State’s donor relations and stewardship efforts. Prior to joining Fresno State, Fotini was the Director of Central California for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars locally to fund research for a cure and to provide services for those diagnosed with the unpredictable and often debilitating disease – a cause that is very near and dear to her heart as she has been living with MS since 2007.
Lieutenant Colonel Katharine K. Corliss serves as the 144^th Fighter Wing Munition Flight Office-In-Charge where she directs, supervises, and manages daily munitions maintenance operations and accountability for a munitions stockpile worth over $30 million. She graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1998 with a degree in mathematics and a commission in the Army Signal Corps as a 2^nd
