ClovisFest & Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly
2019 45th Annual
Saturday, Oct. 26th 8am-5pm &
Sunday, Oct. 27th 8am-5pm
October means falling autumn leaves, changing weather and the Table Mountain Casino ClovisFest and Community Medical Centers Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly, a Clovis Chamber Event. Join thousands of Clovis and Fresno locals in visiting Old Town Clovis for free, family fun at the upcoming 44th Annual ClovisFest!
This year’s event has been given a big facelift with the addition of long-awaited new attractions like the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau‘s ClovisFest International Village – where you and your family will experience cultural adventures and wonderful live performances. We’ve worked hard to enhance this year’s event including a wide range of hot air balloons, unique craft vendors, festival foods, and our cultural adventure, the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitor’s Bureau International Village on 7th Street.
Get to the Clovis Rodeo grounds before sunrise and feast your eyes on the majestic hot air balloons readying for takeoff! You’ll want to arrive very early on Saturday and Sunday to ensure a good vantage point to watch these beauties launch. Most often, our balloon pilots begin inflating around 6:15 am and plan for liftoff around 7:00 am, weather permitting. Visitors will be able to enjoy delicious breakfast items while they wait for the festivities to begin. Unfortunately, balloon rides are not available to the public.
All About ClovisFest 2018
ClovisFest spans over twelve city blocks, including side streets where you’ll discover over 200 craft and commercial vendor booths, in addition to our International Village.
After the early morning hot air balloon launch, walk across to Pollasky Avenue where family fun begins! Visit our newest attraction, the Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau ClovisFest International Village, featuring live multicultural performances, storytelling and various booths selling international food and wares. Don’t miss the Grand Opening Ceremony at 9 am sharp, on Saturday. Live performances will take place on stage at Bullard & Woodworth – all day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn more about diverse cultures – close to home in the Central Valley. Local schools are also encouraged to participate and can download our free Passport to Culture and International Village flyer.
Apply To Be A Performer Before August 31, 2018
Interested in being a performer in the International Village or having a cultural booth with the potential to perform? Download our applications & submit to Priscilla Montell at the Clovis Chamber of Commerce with the deposit before August 31, 2018.
You will also want to download the Clovis Chamber of Commerce mobile app so that you can view our mobile ClovisFest Directory! The mobile app will also provide a wonderful overview of ClovisFest vendors, attractions, and entertainment schedules to make your experience even better. You’ll even receive a text notification before each performance in our Beer Garden! Follow the official ClovisFest Facebook page for updates and details on everything leading up to this event!
If great food is on your agenda, stop at the many vendors along Pollasky for kettle corn, shaved ice, cotton candy, delicious smoothies, and more. Then go to the Bullard Food Court where you’ll find a diverse selection of old favorites as well as some new, more exotic menus to try out. Enjoy a cool Pepsi product or hot coffee with a wide range of savory and sweet treats to suit any taste throughout the entire ClovisFest event.
Searching for great music, refreshing beverages and good times hanging out with friends? Visit the Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden to enjoy a cool brew while listening to an impressive schedule of the local area bands and maybe kick your heels up a bit.
