Clovis Chamber of Commerce launches emergency supplies drive with Habitat for Humanity to support community families

October 2, 2020 – Clovis, CA.

The Clovis Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Habitat for Humanity is participating in the Emergency Supplies Drive to provide much needed support to community families in this time of crisis. To successfully launch and execute this project, the Chamber is asking community members to donate, however big or small, household goods or monetary contributions.

“The mission of the Clovis Chamber is to advocate and support a healthy business environment which improves the quality of life in Clovis and the entire Central Valley. We are proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity on this important emergency supplies drive that will help families in our community.” said Greg Newman, Clovis Chamber President and CEO.

“It’s been said that “if you make your business about helping others, there will always be plenty of work.” We applaud the Clovis Chamber of Commerce and its members for demonstrating the heart of good business. By partnering with Habitat, together our work will help meet the emergency needs of our neighbors in this current crisis.” Said Matthew Grundy, Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area, CEO.

“We have almost 600 members that can help generate the much-needed supplies to be distributed in relief packages throughout the community, but you do not have to be a chamber member to participate,” says Newman. “We trust community members at-large will generously help with this program.”

Items that can be delivered to designated locations on Wednesday, October 7 and Thursday, October 8 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Locations include:
