Indoor Operations Allowed for Some Businesses!
The County of Fresno has been moved to Tier 2/Substantial by the State of California. This allows significant changes to what can operate within state requirements throughout the County. The County of Fresno will be required to remain in Tier 2/Substantial for at least 3 weeks before progressing to a less restrictive tier.
Changes Include
Shopping Centers (Malls, Destination Centers, Swap Meets)
Can now operate at 50% capacity, keep common areas closed, can reopen food courts consistent with restaurant guidance.
Personal Care Services
Can operate indoors.
Museums, Zoos, and Aquariums
Can open indoors at 25% capacity.
Places of Worship
Can open indoors at 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer.
Movie Theaters
Can open indoors at 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer.
Hotels & Lodging
Can reopen indoor fitness centers at 10% capacity.
Gyms and Fitness Centers
Can reopen indoor facilities at 10% capacity.
Restaurants
Can open indoors at 25% capacity or 100 people, whichever is fewer.
Fresno County is making progress towards further reopening and we will be monitoring any changes that will allow businesses to reopen. A move to a lower tier will not be allowed for at least three weeks and requires test positivity and case rates to drop further. If cases increase in Fresno County it is possible the County can be placed back into Tier 1/Widespread.
