We made it through 2014 and a lot of our Clovis Chamber members had a great year.

Richard Wahl of Safety World reports that their company growth is up 16% this year. They expanded into Ohio and their Texas business is growing. They also added another trainer to help with their increased work. Details: 974-3087

Due to the success of its first ever summer camp series and Thanksgiving camps, the Valley Animal Center will be continuing its Humane Education outreach with a series of winter camps for kids ages 8 – 14. It has added a computer lab for the campers thanks to a generous donation from Fresno State organized by a group of Non-Profit Management students. Details: 233-8690

Three families in Orange Cove are enjoying their new homes from Habitat for Humanity Fresno County. And a big thank you to the Criminal Justice program at the State Center community college of Madera for volunteering over two days at the ReStore.

Good News from Valley Caregiver Resource Center: HICAP reports that Open Enrollment has officially ended as of December 7 and HICQAP Registered Counselors did an awesome job. The team worked diligently to see every beneficiary that walked through their doors. The received assistance with health plan comparisons, extra help and prescription drug plans.
